The first to arrive at the Pilot Field is powerful defender Jerald Aboagye, who joins from league rivals Ashford United.

Aboagye had spells at both Merstham and Chatham Town before moving to Hythe Town in December 2016.

He soon made himself a firm favourite with the Hythe fans and was voted supporters` player of the year at the end of the 2017/18 season.

He disappointed them when he moved to Folkestone Invicta in February 2018 before moving to Ashford in October 2018.

Also joining Hastings is striker Warren Mfula (pictured) from another league rival, Cray Valley PM, for whom he has netted 14 goals already this season.

The 29-year-old signed for Cray Valley in September 2019 from Burgess Hill Town, where he had only been since June 2019.

He netted 15 goals for Corinthian-Casuals in the Isthmian Premier in 2018/19 having arrived from Vanarama National League South side Dartford in the summer of 2018.

He had signed for the Darts in July 2017 after netting 44 goals for AFC Croydon Athletic.
