Amantchi joined the academy after playing for the feted Wallsend Boys Club, who have produced the likes of Alan Shearer, Peter Beardsley and Michael Carrick.

The tall, 19-year-old forward impressed the Chesterfield academy staff when he played and scored in a trial game against Sheffield Wednesday and was subsequently offered a chance to join the Spireites.

After impressing in the youth team, he received a call-up to the senior squad in 2018/19 and made his debut as a substitute in the game at Boreham Wood in early September. He also came on to appear in the last home game against AFC Fylde.

With the Trojans still having 20 league games to fit in over the next 11 weeks, this provides Amantchi with a great opportunity to secure valuable playing time.
