The
much-travelled 33-year-old has been on the books at Vanarama National League
North side Bradford Park Avenue since September 2019.
The
Curacao international joined Avenue following a stint with National League side
Wrexham at the end of last season.
He
signed for the Dragons from fellow National League side Barrow AFC in March
2019.
A
Dutch native, he began his career with home-town club Willem II in the
Eredivise before switching to AZ Alkmaar in 2006.
During
his four years with AZ he made his first foray into England spending time with
Birmingham City on loan, winning promotion to the Premier League with the
Blues.
He
also represented the Netherlands at youth level playing for the under-15s all
the way up to the Dutch under-23s.
He
left his homeland in 2010 landing in Wales to join Swansea City in 2010 and
played for the Swans in their debut season in the Premier League.
Having
had a loan spell with Crystal Palace he moved on to Brighton for two years
before having short spells with the likes of Vendsyssel in Denmark, Hamilton
Academical in Scotland, FC Dordrecht and SV Tec in Holland and Global Cebu in
the Philippines.
He
returned to the British Isles in 2018 with Nuneaton Borough before switching
across the Midlands to join Halesowen Town.
He
then signed for Barrow in November 2018 making 10 appearances. |
