The 26-year-old returned to Vanarama National League South side Concord Rangers last season after spells at Hemel Hempstead Town and Billericay Town.
He notched up over 150 Concord appearances, becoming a fans’ favourite with his energetic style.
He has also had experience with Leyton Orient and Histon.
Leese told his club`s website: "We are pleased to announce we have agreed terms with Lewis Taaffe to join us for next season. Lewis has played his career largely at Step 2, most recently at Concord. I am delighted he wants to join us as we look to progress this season. He is a wide player who can also play in a forward role. He brings goals as well, as well as a playing style and work ethic that I know supporters will like.”
Meanwhile, Leese has announced that Jack Hockney, Liam Hope and Junior Mabaiyi will join Town again in pre-season, but Ryan Blake has told the club he will not be able to commit next season and Brad Wadkins and Dernell Wynter have also seemingly left the club. |
