First
to join was experienced goalkeeper Aaron Bufton, who was signed in time to make
his debut in last Saturday’s 1-1 draw away at Harlow Town.
The
28-year-old joined rivals Uxbridge in the close season of 2018 before switching
to rivals Hanwell Town in January 2019 and then South Park a year later.
He
has played for a number of other clubs over the years including Aldershot Town,
Corinthian Casuals, Farnborough, Gosport Borough, Egham Town, North Greenford
United and Kingstonian.
Striker
Pat Cox and former Ashford favourite Samad Kazi have also joined the
Tangerines.
Cox (pictured) returned to Farnborough from Combined Counties League Premier Division side
Godalming Town in October 2018.
He
left the Rushmoor Community Stadium in 2017 to sign for Winchester City, for
whom he scored 22 goals.
His
other previous clubs include Hungerford Town, Gosport Borough, Bashley, Fleet
Town, where he had four separate spells, Guildford City, Hayes & Yeading
United, Basingstoke Town, Staines Town and Merstham.
Kazi
is a full back or centre-back who signed for Uxbridge in July 2019 from the
Tangerines.
A
versatile player, he spent seven years with Ashford after being on the books at
Walton & Hersham.
He
has featured 25 times for Uxbridge this season, although many of them have been
from the bench. |
