The Tykes have signed 20-year-old Ali Omar, who was skippering Tower Hamlets.

A true leader with plenty of talent, Omar started out with Stevenage before being signed by Queens Park Rangers in August 2018.

He progressed into Rangers` under-23 side and had a loan spell with BetVictor Northern Premier League Premier Division side Grantham Town from February 2019 until the end of the 2018/19 season.

However, upon his return to Loftus Road, Omar was released by the R`s and in the summer of 2019 he joined his local side Tower Hamlets.
