Halsey Makes it a New Strike Pairing at the Dripping Pan
BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division club Lewes have signed Tony Halsey.

The 23-year-old is a mobile 6`2” centre-forward first made the step up with Southern League Premier Division South outfit Farnborough from Combined Counties League side Redhill in January 2019.

 

He returned to the Rushmoor Community Stadium in August and then dual-registered with Southern Combination Leaguers Horley Town.

 

Halsey (pictured) follows another recent Rooks forward recruit in Tony Mendy.

 

The experienced 36-year-old moved to the Dripping Pan having been on the books at Southern Premier Division South strugglers Beaconsfield Town, who he signed for in October 2019, and on dual terms with Isthmian North side Romford.

 

He signed for the Rams from Bedford Town, having moved in the opposite direction in December 2018.

 

He bagged 17 goals in 28 appearances for the Rams prior to his move to the Eagles.

 

He has also played for Maidenhead United, Slough Town, Chalfont St. Peter, Enfield Town, AFC Hayes, Hungerford Town and Hillingdon Borough.
