Woods
parted company with Jamie Leacock last week following an unprecedented run of
defeats that stretched back to the beginning of December.
Thirty-seven-year-old
Ursell takes over with immediate effect and will be in charge for tomorrow
night’s game at fellow strugglers Staines Town.
Ursell
had two spells as a player at Northwood, making a total of 45 appearances,
scoring 9 goals as an attacking midfielder over a period of four seasons.
He
started his career at Harefield United and enjoyed a very successful spell in
the early days of AFC Wimbledon.
He
also turned out for Carshalton Athletic, Hendon, Walton Casuals, Chertsey Town
and Wingate & Finchley.
He
also possesses England Futsal international caps as well as a spell as a
professional Futsal player in Cyprus. |
