Starting the game was central defender Antone Douglas, who made the switch from Isthmian South East side Three Bridges.

The 30-year-old joined Bridges in 2018 from Isthmian Premier outfit Merstham.

He started his career with Crawley Town and went on to have spells with Waltham Forest, where he had three stints, Staines Town, Histon and Billericay Town before joining the Moatsiders in 2015.

Coming off the bench at half-time was Christian Gitau Eneremadu.

He is an exciting wide player who is as effective going forward as he is defensively.

Eneremadu started out in his homeland of Germany with Lüneburger SK Hansa after returning from two years at Loughborough University.

Whilst at Loughborough he represented the university and also the England Universities, helping to win the home nations tournament.

Then in December 2018, he signed for Northern Premier League Division One South East outfit Stamford AFC, where he stayed until the end of the 2018/19 season, making a dozen appearances.

He then joined Merstham and played three times for the Moatsiders this season – all from the bench

An unused sub on Saturday was experienced striker Duncan Culley.

Culley (pictured) first came to prominence in 2013/14 while at Shortwood United, netting 39 times in just 47 appearances, and started the following season in the same manner scoring 4 times in their opening three games which brought him to the attention of Bromley, for whom he promptly signed.

His spell at Bromley was not prolonged though and he moved on to play for both Farnborough and Bishop’s Stortford in the next couple of seasons.

He started the 2016/17 season at Whitehawk after a second spell with Hampton & Richmond Borough and then joined Lewes in September 2016.

He stay with the Rooks was a brief one and he returned for what was to prove to be an acrimonious return to Whitehawk in November 2016 until January 2017 – a period for which he had to take the Hawks to court for unpaid wages, which he was eventually awarded.

He re-joined the Beavers for a third time in January 2017 and then had a successful two-season spell with Hayes & Yeading United, netting 37 goals in 59 games.

More recently he has been with Combined Counties League Premier Division outfit Hanworth Villa after recovering from an injury.
