Swann is well known at Chasetown and in Midlands non-League football.

He has previously enjoyed spells at Chasetown as a player (2007-2008), assistant manager alongside Charlie Blakemore (2009) and had plenty of success as reserve team manager (2010 - 2011).

Swann recently left Walsall Wood at the end of October with them sitting top of the Total Motion Midland League Premier Division table and had also previously managed Romulus.

Swann has appointed Jamie Hawkins as his assistant

Hawkins was a member of Chasetown`s successful reserve side, captaining the team when Swann was manager.

He was with our reserves for two and a half years as player and also assistant to Swann.

They linked up again in roles at Walsall Wood.

More recently, Hawkins was manager at Midland League Division One side Lichfield City, who stated: “Everyone at Lichfield City would like to thank Jamie for the great work he has done over the last two years.

“His achievements have included securing the club’s best-ever finish of fourth place at Step 6 and this season’s record-breaking runs in the FA Cup and FA Vase.

“On behalf of myself and everyone associated with Lichfield City, we wish Jamie all the best for the future”.
