Alport
have signed midfielder Ryan Allcock, 23, from Sandbach United where he has been
a standout player for the past couple of seasons.
Highly
talented, he has been close to moving to Yockings Park previously, so the club
were delighted he has now joined Matt Burton`s squad.
Leaving
Alport are winger Sam Phillips and goalkeeper Dave Parton.
Phillips
has earned a move to Spain with CD Almuñécar.
Despite
only being at Yockings Park for a couple of months after joining from Total
Motion Midland League Premier Division outfit Haughmond, it has always been his
ambition to get back into full time football and this is a unique opportunity
he has been offered.
In
recent weeks Phillips had begun to make a big impression at Whitchurch Alport so
it will naturally be a big blow for manager Matt Burton.
Parton (pictured) has opted to join league rivals Congleton Town.
Parton,
who joined Alport back in July 2018 following promotion to the Premier Division,
has been a huge favourite here at Yockings Park.
As
well as Whitchurch Alport, the 27-year-old also numbers Nantwich Town,
Hednesford Town, Newcastle Town and Altrincham amongst his other former clubs,
having started out at Stoke City. |
