Dragons Striker Loaned to Spartans
Striker Leighton McIntosh has joined Vanarama National League North club Blyth Spartans on loan from National League side Wrexham until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old signed for Wrexham in June 2019 from Scottish League One side Airdrieonians, where he scored 17 goals in 41 games in 2018/19.

 

The ex-Scotland under-19 international joined Airdrie in May 2018 from Arbroath.

 

He had returned to Gayfield in November 2017 after having originally had a loan spell on loan from Dundee in the 2013/14 season.

 

He returned to Gayfield after a spell in Iceland with UMF Selfoss.

 

He has made 13 appearances for Wrexham, scoring 3 goals.
