Magpies Boss Goes for Familiar Face

BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South relegation battlers Dorchester Town have signed striker Jordan Rogers.

Rogers is well-known to current Magpies manager Leigh Robinson, having spent two successful seasons with him at Taunton Town in 2015/16 and 2016/17 when he netted 57 goals in 106 matches.

He signed for Southern Division One South side Mangotsfield United from Bristol Manor Farm in October 2019.

He had joined Farm in January 2019 from then-Southern Premier South side Frome Town.

He had only joined Frome from Tiverton Town at the start of December 2018 and scored 2 goals in 5 games for the Robins.

As well as Taunton, the 29-year-old also numbers Yate Town amongst his other former clubs.
