Clements returns to Cressing Road, the youngster being one of the first signings under former boss Glen Driver in the summer of 2019.

But the 22-year-old central defender quickly moved on to BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South side Leiston.

Clements (pictured) initially joined Isthmian League North outfit Bury Town during the summer of 2016 on a season-long loan from AFC Sudbury where he had earned a two-year contract after impressing in their youth and reserve teams.

He was with Thurlow Nunn Leaguers Woodbridge Town before joining Sudbury and was signed by Bury permanently in the summer of 2018 for an undisclosed fee.

Russell was in his third spell with Isthmian South Central club Waltham Abbey, making 30 appearances and scoring 10 goals this season, before joining the Iron.

He had been a consistent goalscorer throughout his spells with the Abbotts which began in 2013.

He has also played for Barking, Cheshunt, Harrow Borough, Billericay Town, Arlesey Town, AFC Hayes, Haringey Borough and Antigua Barracuda.
