Goalkeeper Danny Taberner has re-joined Colls from Hallmark Security League Division One South side Cheadle Town.

The 26-year-old has recently been on dual registration with NPL Division One North West outfit Runcorn Linnets having signed for Cheadle in December 2019 from NWCL Premier Division Northwich Victoria.

Taberner started his career with Rochdale and became their youngest ever goalkeeper when, in November 2009, he made his debut in an FA Cup tie against Luton Town.

He left in 2012 and had spells with Stockport Sports and Salford City before signing for Colls for the first time in 2014, making over 100 appearances before moving on to Prestwich Heys, Ramsbottom United and Northwich.

Also arriving at the Skuna Stadium is winger Jamal Crawford (pictured) on dual registration with Vanarama National League North side Curzon Ashton.

The 22-year-old had only joined The Nash last month having started the season with their Tameside neighbours and Colls` league rivals Hyde United.

Crawford joined the Tigers in July 2019 after leaving National League North side Chester FC.

He joined Chester in March 2019 from then-league rivals FC United of Manchester.

He started his career with Premier League Burnley where he was a regular in the under-18 side.

He was released at the end of the 2015/16 season and signed for Welsh Premier side Llandudno.

He spent a season on the Welsh coast before joining FC United in the summer of 2017.

Meanwhile, youngster Jordan Boon has extended his `work experience` spell from SkyBet League One side Bolton Wanderers.

The defender started the season in Bolton’s first team, making 3 league appearances in August for the Whites, along with other youth players as they valiantly represented the club.

He spent part of last season with Northwich Victoria.
