Goalkeeper
Danny Taberner has re-joined Colls from Hallmark Security League Division One
South side Cheadle Town.
The
26-year-old has recently been on dual registration with NPL Division One North
West outfit Runcorn Linnets having signed for Cheadle in December 2019 from
NWCL Premier Division Northwich Victoria.
Taberner
started his career with Rochdale and became their youngest ever goalkeeper
when, in November 2009, he made his debut in an FA Cup tie against Luton Town.
He
left in 2012 and had spells with Stockport Sports and Salford City before
signing for Colls for the first time in 2014, making over 100 appearances
before moving on to Prestwich Heys, Ramsbottom United and Northwich.
Also
arriving at the Skuna Stadium is winger Jamal Crawford (pictured) on dual registration with
Vanarama National League North side Curzon Ashton.
The
22-year-old had only joined The Nash last month having started the season with
their Tameside neighbours and Colls` league rivals Hyde United.
Crawford
joined the Tigers in July 2019 after leaving National League North side Chester
FC.
He
joined Chester in March 2019 from then-league rivals FC United of Manchester.
He
started his career with Premier League Burnley where he was a regular in the
under-18 side.
He
was released at the end of the 2015/16 season and signed for Welsh Premier side
Llandudno.
He
spent a season on the Welsh coast before joining FC United in the summer of
2017.
Meanwhile,
youngster Jordan Boon has extended his `work experience` spell from SkyBet
League One side Bolton Wanderers.
The
defender started the season in Bolton’s first team, making 3 league appearances
in August for the Whites, along with other youth players as they valiantly
represented the club.
He
spent part of last season with Northwich Victoria. |
