Vastly Experienced Ward Joins Clarets
Vanarama National League South club Chelmsford City have signed central defender Elliott Ward after he recently departed SkyBet League Two side Cambridge United.

Ward joined the U`s on a short-term deal in September 2019 until January 2020.

 

The vastly experienced centre-back brings a wealth of know-how having played predominantly at Championship level over his 16-year career to date which has included over 300 professional appearances.

 

Starting his career at West Ham United, Ward's list of former clubs include Doncaster Rovers, Coventry City, Preston North End, Nottingham Forest, AFC Bournemouth, Huddersfield Town, MK Dons, Notts County and Norwich City, with whom he achieved promotion to the Premier League in 2010/11.
