The 27-year-old will bring a wealth of experience to the Victoria Ground, having played over 300 games at senior level during a career which began with Sunderland.
After coming through the ranks at the Stadium of Light, Noble went on to spend two highly successful loan spells at Carlisle United before making a permanent move to Brunton Park in 2012.
Notts County came calling in the summer of 2014 and he went on to become a real fans favourite at Meadow Lane, thanks to his combative style allied with an ability to score goals from midfield, hitting double figures during 2015/16.
Noble also has experience of promotion from the National League having led Forest Green Rovers to Promotion Final glory at Wembley in 2016/17 during a season which also saw him voted in to the team of the year.
A return to Notts County was confirmed in October 2017 and he once again became a Magpies regular during the second half of last season as they came close to winning promotion to League One.
However, Noble was keen to move closer to his North-East roots and Pools` boss Matthew Bates moved quickly to acquire his services once he became aware of his availability. |
