BetVictor Northern Premier League Premier Division club Ashton United have signed promising young midfielder Harvey Macadam from Hallmark Security League First Division North side Nelson.

Macadam was originally with Premier League Burnley as a youngster and then joined Vanarama National League outfit AFC Fylde where he appeared in their under-18s

 

He left NWCL Premier Division Northwich Victoria in August 2019 to join Nelson.

 

Ashton boss Micheal Clegg said: “We are delighted to have secured Harvey. We have to thank Andy Harrison at Nelson for this. I have a good relationship with him and he made me aware a few weeks back of the talent he had on his hands.

 

“Harvey has come in training and has been excellent. A young lad with ability, great physique and humble personality! We are really grateful to Nelson for allowing Harvey to continue his development with us. We are looking forward to working with him”.
