The
23-year-old made 8 appearances for the Cantilever Park outfit after joining in
November 2019.
He
started his career with Everton where he progressed through from the under-18s
to the under-21s.
Whilst
with the Toffees, Duffus (pictured) had loan spells with Skelmersdale United, Hereford FC and
also with Cardiff City`s under-23s.
He
was released from Goodison Park at the end of the 2018/19 season and spent
pre-season with SkyBet League Two side Carlisle United, but failed to earn a
contract.
Earlier, Witton announced the arrival of attacking midfielder James Hooper on dual registration with Vanarama National League North neighbours Altrincham.
The 23-year-old has been out of action for three months with injury having joined the Robins a year ago from Salford City.
He enjoyed
a productive spell in the Northern Premier League with Radcliffe FC for the
majority of the 2017/18 season after beginning it with FC United of Manchester.
He was originally with Rochdale, Stockport County and Carlisle United. |
