Sheringham Duals With Tanners

Vanarama National League South club Dartford have announced that striker Charlie Sheringham has joined BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division side Leatherhead on dual registration.

The move will allow Sheringham the opportunity to play on a more regular basis and stay match fit.

The 31-year-old originally signed for the Darts in June 2010 from Bishop`s Stortford and then re-joined in August 2018.

The son of former England international Teddy, he enjoyed a hugely prolific first spell with the Darts, finding the net 34 times in 56 appearances during 2010/11.

He came through the youth ranks at Tottenham Hotspur and Ipswich Town and has since gone onto play for the likes of Cambridge City, Welling United, Bishop`s Stortford, AFC Bournemouth, AFC Wimbledon and Ebbsfleet United.

He spent part of the 2017/18 season with Hemel Hempstead Town after enjoying a spell in Bangladesh with Saif Sporting club, where he scored 6 times in 10 appearances.
