The
Vikings unveiled their arrival on Sunday morning, revealing that they will be
assisted by Simon Portrey, Sean Burton and Steve Gilmore, as the club looks to
move up the table from their current spot in 17th.
Nelson
and James replace Matty Bloor and Terry Barwick, who stepped down from the role
last week.
A
club statement said: "The new management team are well known on the West
Yorkshire football scene, having had success at their previous club Whitkirk
Wanderers and have fantastic contacts within the game."
The
new management duo wasted no time in strengthening their squad, bringing in
Kwame Boateng, Derick Ngwana and Amin Ahmed.
Boateng
started his career with SkyBet League Two outfit Bradford City and made two
starts for them in the 2016/17 season.
The
21-year-old went on to play for Guiseley AFC, Farsley Celtic before joining
Albion Sports on dual registration with Farsley, having been on similar terms
with BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West side Ossett
United earlier this season.
Ngwana
and Ahmed are forwards who joined Albion Sports this season having previously
featured for Whitkirk Wanderers in the West Yorkshire League. |
