Championship neighbours Stoke City`s forward Abdul Sankoh joins on a month`s
loan.
Sankoh
can easily be deployed on either of the wings, and comes into side to help fill
the void left by the suspension of Kingsley Adu-Gyamfi and the injury of Ruben
Wiggins-Thomas
A
very familiar face also returns to Grove in midfielder Tim Sanders, who
re-joins on dual registration with Hallmark Security League Premier Division
neighbours Hanley Town.
Sanders
is a former Hednesford Town youth team player who was allowed to leave the club
in February 2008 to join Kidsgrove for the first time.
In
three seasons with Grove, Sanders developed a reputation for versatility and
consistency, playing in a number of positions for the side.
He
joined their ambitious rivals Leek Town in July 2011
His
first season at Harrison Park was a major success, as Leek made it to the end
of season play-offs, losing to local rivals Ilkeston FC in the final. After
agreeing a new deal for the following season, Sanders continued his fine form
as Leek challenged Coalville Town at the top of the table
Local
rivals Newcastle Town made enquiries about the player in February 2013, with
Sanders making to short journey to North Stoke to link up with Newcastle.
His
career came on leaps and bounds at the Blues as he finished 2014/15 strongly as
club captain and swept the board at the end of season awards.
A
switch back to Hednesford followed before, in the summer of 2015 he was on the
move again, this time back to Newcastle.
Spells
with Nantwich Town, Stafford Rangers and Kidsgrove again followed before he
signed for Hanley in the summer of 2019. |
