The 29-year-old becomes Harrogate`s fourth signing after netting 7 goals in 25 games for the Coasters in last season.
Muldoon’s solitary season with the Coasters came after a transfer from Lincoln City where he spent two seasons, winning the league and promotion to the Football League in his final season with the Imps.
The Scunthorpe-born striker was also a key part of Lincoln’s famous 2016/17 Emirates FA Cup run that saw them face the likes of Burnley and Arsenal on the way to the Quarter-Final of the competition.
Muldoon began with spells at Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers as a youngster.
However, he had to re-build his career in non-League football after being released by Rovers in 2008 and had spells with the likes of Brigg Town, Sheffield FC, Glapwell, Alfreton Town, Stocksbridge Park Steels and Worksop Town, where he really caught the eye in notching 21 goals in 2013/14.
That led to a move back to League football with Rochdale in May 2014, but he made only a handful of appearances for them, along with a spell on loan with Halifax Town before being signed by Lincoln in the summer of 2015.
Muldoon was offered a new deal at AFC Fylde, but decided to link up with Harrogate. |
