Campbell
was originally with the Bromley academy before going on to have spells with
Dulwich Hamlet and Merstham before returning to Hayes Lane as a first-team
player in August 2017.
He
was loaned to Bognor from September 2017 to January 2018 and then signed for Eastbourne
in the summer of 2018 and made 49 appearances in 2018/19 but was released recently.
Meanwhile,
Ben Mendoza has joined Isthmian South East side Chichester City for a month to
give him some much-needed game time.
Mendoza
joined the Rocks in November 2019 from rivals Worthing, who he had joined in
July 2019.
He
returned to his Sussex roots where he grew up in Chichester after being on a
football scholarship in the USA at the University of Rio Grande.
He
can play on the wing or through the middle of the pitch and won the Isthmian
Under-18 League with Bognor before departing for the States and was one of only
five players to be placed on The River States Conference Men’s Soccer
Scholar-Athlete team last year.
He
remains part of Bognor's long-term plans and the Rocks expect to see him back
in the not-too-distant future. |
