....last few days strengthening his squad ahead of the new campaign.
Coventry has brought in Tom Derry, Harry Lee and brought back Ashley Miller, Danny Harris and Tom Stephen to Rookery Hill.
Striker Derry joins the Rocks, having spent the second half of last season with Bostik League Premier side Leatherhead.
The 23-year-old started out with Charlton Athletic and Gillingham`s youth sides.
Prior to joining Leatherhead, he had been with Aldershot Town, Billericay Town and Kingstonian.
Midfielder Harry Lee spent last season with the Rocks` league rivals Concord Rangers, but injury meant he only featured in 21 games for the Beachboys.
Having come through the Leyton Orient youth set-up, Lee made six first-team appearances for the 'O's before joining Welling United and was then a regular in Braintree Town's National League side in 2016/17.
Returning to the Rocks for the new season is right-back Ashley Miller.
He spent the first half of the 2015/16 promotion season at Rookery Hill, scoring 3 times in the process.
A product of the West Ham United youth system - joining the Hammers as an 8-year-old and continuing through to reserve team level - Miller moved into non-League following his release from Upton Park and played for Canvey Island, Concord Rangers, Bishop`s Stortford and most recently Chelmsford City.
Danny Harris also makes a return to the Rocks for the new season.
Harris will need no introduction to East Thurrock`s longer-standing followers, having originally signed as a 17-year-old back in 2004.
He quickly established himself as a regular, and was with the Rocks for four seasons, scoring 23 times.
After a short spell at Bishop`s Stortford, he joined Dartford in 2009 and went on to make over 400 appearances for the Darts, scoring 75 goals.
Tom Stephen is another returnee to the club.
A highly-rated left-sided defender, Stephen first joined the Rocks in 2009 as a teenager and spent five seasons at Rookery Hill before switching to then-higher level Concord Rangers in 2015.
He quickly established himself as a regular in the the Beachboys` side but suffered a bad knee injury last pre-season which kept him sidelined for the whole season.
Having been working hard to get back to full match fitness, Stephen is now raring to get back into action with the Rocks. |
