Coveney was a free agent following his release from SkyBet Championship side Nottingham Forest in the summer before signing a deal with Colne in October 2019.

Comfortable when playing at the heart of the back four or in midfield, he is known for his excellent distribution of the ball and quickly become a favourite with the Reds supporters.

Coveney (pictured) had previously signed a two-year scholarship with Manchester City in 2015 and helped them to win the Under-18 Premier League North trophy.

He moved to the City Ground in July 2017 and had a month on loan with Billericay Town in 2018/19.

Holford is an attacking midfielder who was a regular in League Two side Macclesfield Town`s under-21 side earlier this season.

In December he joined Northern Premier League Premier Division side Grantham Town before returning to the north west with the Bloods.

He was previously on the books at Stockport County.
