The
26-year-old can operate at left back but also in attacking areas where he is
considered more effective.
Kellett (pictured) came through the Bolton Wanderers' academy before having spells at Plymouth Argyle
on loan and then Manchester United also on loan, making 10 appearances for
their under-21s.
A
move from Bolton to Wigan Athletic followed for an undisclosed fee in 2015 on a
three-year deal, a further loan spell at then-League Two Chesterfield where he
made 41 appearances before being released by Wigan at the end of the 2017/18
season.
May
2018 saw Kellett sign for Notts County on a two-year contract and he made 16
appearances before seeing his contract mutually cancelled in August 2019.
Kellet
then secured a move to National League outfit AFC Fylde in December 2019 on a
short-term deal before making the switch to the Impact Arena.
Kellett`s
arrival follows hot on the heels of the loan signing of defender Ethan Stewart
from SkyBet Championship side Nottingham Forest.
Stewart
joins on a month's loan deal following his successful progression through the
Forest youth set up both at under-18 and under-23 level.
He
has been a regular for the under-23s this season. |
