Featuring on the bench in Tuesday`s 1-0 win against title rivals Halesowen Town was Connor Toomey, who re-unites with brother Lewis at Broadwater.

The 24-year-old defender or midfielder re-joins Berko from Southern League Premier Division South side Hayes & Yeading United, who he returned to in March 2019 from Berkhamsted having originally signed for United in November 2016 from then fellow Southern Premier side Kings Langley for whom he had made in excess of 125 appearances.

He started out in the Kings youth ranks before moving to Berko, playing a handful of first team games for them in 2011/12 before returning to Kings Langley the following season.

He started 21 games for Hayes & Yeading in 2016/17 but departed before the end of the season to take a break from the game.

He returned to playing at the start of the 2018/19 campaign with Chesham United before switching back to Berkhamsted in October 2018.

Another returnee is defender or midfielder Manny Folarin (pictured).

The 28-year-old signed for Vanarama National League South side Braintree Town in the summer of 2019 from Isthmian League North neighbours Coggeshall Town.

He has also had spells with Holmesdale, Tilbury, Hemel Hempstead Town, Kings Langley and Hayes & Yeading as well as Berko, where he made 18 appearances last season, scoring one goal.
