.....summer signing with the acquisition of striker Jonathon Margetts.
The 24-year-old has penned an initial one-year deal at The Jakemans Stadium.
Margetts began his career at Hull City, and whilst he never made the Tigers senior side, he had loan spells with Gainsborough Trinity, Harrogate Town and Cambridge United.
In 2015 he was released by Hull and signed for then-National League side Tranmere Rovers, for whom he played 10 times and scored 2 goals as well as spending time out on loan with Stockport County, scoring 4 goals in six games, Altrincham and Southport.
In the summer of 2016, Margetts was signed by then-National League outfit Lincoln City, but after scoring 5 goals in seven matches for the Imps, he was signed for League One club Scunthorpe United in August 2016 on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
He made just a couple of appearances for the Iron, plus a three-game loan return to Lincoln, Scunthorpe revealed that Margetts been ruled out for most of the rest of the 2017/18 campaign with a troublesome knee injury and he had undergone an operation on the injury.
