The versatile performer joined the Cherries in 2012 and has worked his way through the development centre and academy ranks.

Poole-born Nippard, who can operate as a central midfielder or at right-back, attended Poole High School.

He started out playing for the Dolphins youth before he was spotted by Bournemouth scouts and invited to move to the Vitality Stadium.

In 2018/19, he played his part as the Cherries reached the quarter-final of the FA Youth Cup – the club’s best run in the competition for 50 years.

Nippard was rewarded with his first professional contract after completing his two-year scholarship at the end of 2018/19.

He has trained with Eddie Howe’s first-team squad and had a brief loan spell with Weymouth in 2018/19.
