Whichelow's
career began at Watford, where he made 24 first-team appearances, including 3
in the FA Cup.
He
notched 3 goals as a teenager, coming against Derby County, Scunthorpe United and
Preston North End.
A
series of loans followed with the likes of Exeter City, Wycombe Wanderers and
Accrington Stanley, before joining up with Boreham Wood in 2013, where he made
over 80 appearances in three seasons and was an integral part of their National
League South promotion winning team, scoring 8 goals in 37.
He
had loan spells at Chelmsford City and Oxford City, before joining Wealdstone
for the 2016/17 season, making 59 appearances and scoring 10 goals.
Then
in 2018 he moved to another National League South outfit, Hampton &
Richmond Borough and in October 2019 earned his first call-up to play for
Montserrat, making his debut against the Dominican Republic, and he has three
caps to date.
The
28-year-old notched on his debut for Kings in their 4-0 win at Leiston on
Saturday. |
