Downing Makes Hayes & Yeading Switch
Bay Downing, a wing-back or midfielder, has joined BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South clubs Hayes & Yeading United.

The 23-year-old, born in Liverpool, moves to the SKYex Community Stadium from league rivals Salisbury, for whom he scored against United in the Buildbase FA Trophy earlier in the campaign.

 

After attending the prestigious Millfield School in Somerset, he spent his early footballing years studying in Florida and playing for the University of Tampa where he set the single-game scoring record with 5 goals against Auburn-Montgomery in October 2016.

 

On returning home to England he signed for Vanarama National League North outfit Altrincham before moving south and joining Salisbury.
