The 27-year-old joined Vics` league rivals Runcorn Town from Evo-Stik Northern Premier North side Colwyn Bay in the summer of 2017.

Doran signed for the Seagulls in December 2016 from Prescot Cables where he had spent four seasons, interrupted only by a brief spell at Droylsden.

Previously with Burscough, he had a stunning 2015/16 season, where as well as finishing third highest scorer in the Northern Premier League with 26 goals, he was also named player of the year and nominated for the league`s team of the year.

Wilkes told the club`s Jamie Dewsbury: "Rob Doran is another signing that shows that we want to be challenging next season.

“He's a big strong, physical type of centre forward, which we don't currently have at the football club. He's also experienced after plying most of his trade in the divisions above. I'm really pleased to have Rob on board, I know the fans are going to love the way he plays".
