Former Fulham Defender Signs for Darts
Vanarama National League South club Dartford have signed defender Matthew Briggs.

The 29-year-old joins the Darts having spent the first half of the season in Denmark at HB Koge.

 

Briggs started this season with Coggeshall Town, who he had joined from Isthmian League North rivals Maldon & Tiptree in June 2019, having joined the Jammers in the summer of 2018, before moving to Denmark in August 2019

 

He was the youngest player to have ever appeared in the Premier League having made his debut for Fulham at the age of 16.

 

During his career, he has also had spells at Colchester United, Chesterfield and Peterborough United.

 

He is currently representing the Guyana national team and has previously represented England at different age groups, ranging from under-16 to under-21.
