BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West club Mossley AFC have bolstered their squad for the run-in (whenever that is) by making three signings and extending the stay of another.

Midfielder Tom Schofield (pictured) joins from league rivals Trafford.

 

The 29-year-old re-signed for Trafford in August 2019 having left Shawe View in February 2019 to join league rivals Ramsbottom United.

 

He had arrived at the Riverside Stadium from Trafford, although he also played a number of games last season for Congleton Town in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division.

 

His other previous clubs include Colwyn Bay, Curzon Ashton and Witton Albion.

 

Striker Liam Ellis re-signs from NPL Premier Division side Radcliffe for s second spell.

 

The 25-year-old was originally a junior and youth player with Manchester City.

 

The 6`2” striker went on to play for Avro and Chadderton before joining Mossley for the first time in February 2017.

 

He left Seel Park in October 2018 for league rivals Trafford and then moved to Radcliffe in August 2019.

 

Wide attacking player Astley Mulholland is another returnee to Seel Park from Radcliffe.

 

The 32-year-old had moved to Mossley from former league rivals Colwyn Bay in June 2019 and then switched to Radcliffe in late January 2020.

 

He has also played for Altrincham, Trafford, FC United of Manchester, Ashton United, Chorley, Hyde United, Glossop North End and Barrow AFC, having begun his career in Leeds United's academy as a youngster.

 

Meanwhile, young defender Jack Grundy has extended his `work experience` with the Lilywhites until the end of the season.

 

Grundy is a second-year scholar with SkyBet League Two neighbours Oldham Athletic.

 

He had been away from Boundary Park before, being sent out on loan to Hallmark Security League outfit Barnoldswick Town a year ago.

 

The 18-year-old originally signed on loan at Seel Park in December.
