They
are midfielder Jack Lenehan and defender Ben Kerr.
Twenty-one-year-old
Lenehan, comfortable at right-back or in midfield, joined FC United from
Vanarama National League side Chorley in May 2019.
He
was a youth team player at Rochdale and left after under-18 level to join
Chorley.
In
2018/19 he went on loan to Prescot Cables to get first-team experience.
He
also was a successful track athlete for Southport Waterloo.
Kerr (pictured),
19, signed for FC United in November 2019 from Tranmere Rovers.
Prior
to joining FC United, he had spent time in Sweden on a player placement
programme.
He
was among nineteen ex-Football League club academy players to taste footballing
life in Scandinavia - a path already trodden by more than 250 fellow former
apprentices as part of the same scheme.
Kerr`s
twelve-week stay saw him placed with Swedish Second Division club Gottne IF.
He
has started two games for FC United, making his debut in February's win at
Nantwich Town.
Former
Welsh Youth international goalkeeper Scott Reed has aso signed for Runcorn
Linnets from Hallmark Security League Premier Division side Winsford United.
He
joined Winsford only last month from their Premier Division rivals, Northwich
Victoria.
Reed
played for Manchester United at under-9 level, his junior and youth career
later taking him to Liverpool and Swansea City.
He
moved into senior football, playing for Merthyr Town in the Southern League Premier
Division and more recently Northwich from October to December of last year. |
