Previous joint interim manager Lee Matthews will be taking on the first team post permanently for the new campaign, bringing in David Michno as his assistant.

Matthews is an experienced manager in the Hellenic League. He joined the club with Danial Knight as interim joint-manager from Didcot Town's development side.

Knight will be leaving the club, and the club have thanked him for all the effort he has put in and helping the club since he joined earlier on this campaign.

Chairman Ian Feaver told https://www.ardleyunitedfc.co.uk: "I am very excited about next season already and can't wait to get started. I'd like to thank Eddie Nix for helping us appoint the right man for the job."

Matthews said: "I am honoured and proud, and I look forward to the new season, taking the team forward on the pitch and getting back to football when we are out of the horrible times".
