Tuffs Announces His Management Team
Isthmian League South Central club Ashford Town (Middx) have announced new manager Luke Tuffs` coaching staff for next season.

While everything is still locked down, Tuffs (pictured) has set about building his backroom staff ready to hit the ground running when it’s confirmed safe to do so.

 

Drawing on people that he has worked with previously and from within the club, the coaching side is shaping up well and will be ready to go as soon as the players are allowed back.

 

Dean Greenwood joins as Tuffs` assistant manager

 

A UEFA B Licenced coach, Greenwood was previously assistant boss to Tuffs at Combined Counties League side Knaphill and has also been first team manager at Camberley Town in the past.

 

He made over 100 appearances for Camberley as a player as well as having spells with Bedfont Sports and Staines Lammas.

 

Two others moving with Tuffs and Greenwood from Knaphill are Matty Cronan and Martin Cook.

 

Cronan will be aassistant coach with the first team.

 

However, he will remain with Knaphill as under-18 manager.

 

Cook, a former Knaphill and Westfield goalkeeper, joins as the goalkeeping coach.

 

As well as Knaphill, Cook has also coached at Camberley Town and Westfield.

 

Joe Paris joins the Ash Trees as first team coach.

 

Paris is a former Hartley Wintney, Cove, Camberley Town, AFC Wimbledon and Woking midfielder who has Combined Counties League and Isthmian League play-off winners` medals.

 

Staying with the club from last season`s management team is Liam Balmer as first team coach.

 

He was previously the club`s youth assistant coach from 2016 until joining the senior set up in 2018.
