Jake
Robinson has departed after taking charge, alongside Paul Snape, in February 2018
with the team rooted to the bottom of the Midland League Premier Division table.
Robinson (pictured) and Snape took the helm and guided the club to what was believed to be safety
in a 20th place finish.
The
club fell foul to the restructure of Step 5 and 6 of the non-League Pyramid and
were relegated to the Staffordshire Senior League.
During
close season of 2018, Snape departed leaving Robinson working alongside long-term
club servant Calvin Bailey to rebuild the squad and adapt to a new division.
Robinson,
assisted by Bailey and Luke Williams then led Stafford to a top five finish the
following season, and a League Cup win over Leek CSOB, prompting a return to
the Midland League Division One ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
The
new management team is Steve Barrow and Dominic Heath.
Barrow
has management experience with Wellington Amateurs, Brocton and Sporting
Khalsa.
Heath
was a well-travelled midfielder who started out at West Bromwich Albion and Stafford
Rangers, Bloxwich United, Shifnal Town, Rocester, AFC Bridgnorth, Ludlow Town,
Bridgnorth Town and Stourbridge. |
