Walsh spent the last couple of months before lockdown training with the U’s and playing for the club`s under-23 side, impressing all and scoring some spectacular goals along the way.

First team manager Chris Agutter (pictured) told http://www.hastingsunited.com: “I am delighted we have been able to tie down a very talented, local, young and hungry player in Max. He featured for our under-23’s a number of times towards the backend of the season, in those appearances he was outstanding and if you couple that with his excellent pedigree with National League South side Dartford it makes Max a very exciting addition to our group."

The club`s CEO, Billy Wood, added: “It’s always great to bring in hard working and determined individuals, Max has an abundance of talent and we are happy to have agreed terms on a contract with him”.
