The player leaving the Two Blues if Kyle Fryatt, who is joining neighbours and league rivals West Auckland Town.

Fryatt signed for Bishops in June 2018. He previously played for Whitby Town, Whitley Bay, Shildon and Durham City.

He started his career at Middlesbrough as a youth.

Chandler told https://bishopafc.com: “Kyle contacted me to inform me that he was leaving Bishop and joining our near neighbours West. Whilst this is very disappointing, as I personally see Bishop as a better and a more progressive club, Kyle has left for what I personally think are not footballing reasons. Despite this I, of course, wish Kyle the very best of luck and really look forward to playing against him and West next season, whenever that may be.”

Incoming on the forward front is striker Craig Hutchinson (pictured).

Formerly with Billingham Town, he trialled with Hartlepool United in 2017 and then moved to Guisborough Town in January.

Chandler added: “I personally see Craig as the most prolific and promising centre forward I have come across in recent years. Craig was a very sought after signing and thankfully he’s agreed to join Bishop”.
