Westbury parted company with Neil and Joe Kirkpatrick at the end of April after three years in charge.

Porter and Hulbert have the passion and drive to reinvigorate the club`s current squad of players.

Goalkeeper Lewis Porter (pictured) re-joined Westbury for a second spell in July 2017.

He was previously with Larkhall Athletic and Trowbridge Town and had been acting as goalkeeper coach as well under the Kirkpatricks.

Hulbert, 34, is an experienced forward who has played at a good level throughout his career.

He has taken in spells with Bath City, Paulton Rovers, Larkhall Athletic, Frome Town and Yate Town.

They have proved that they have high standards, and this will be taken into management.

Porter and Hulbert are in a great position to keep the current group of players together due to having a great relationship with the squad.

Club chairman, Greg Coulson told https://www.westburyunited.co.uk: “We

are delighted that Lewis and Ricky decided to apply and wanted to make the step up to become managers.

“We have been impressed by their attitude and ambition, we know the standards that these guys have, and we have no doubt that they will take those standards into management. We can`t wait for the new season to be announced so we can see these two in action".
