Conneely, who was brought in by Dickson, took over alongside Neil Collett in April 2019 following the manager`s departure.

But he was left on his own when Collett decided to leave in January to spend more time with his family.

Dickson as their new manager initially in June 2012 following the departure of Carl Nolan to city rivals Coventry Sphinx.

Dickson had been assistant to Nolan for the previous four years.

He had plenty of experience at non-League level as a player with spells at Tamworth, Rugby Town, Bedworth United and Atherstone Town before hanging his boots up and becoming team boss of Dunlop in the Coventry Alliance.

He joined Nolan at Copsewood back in 2008 and kicked off a successful partnership as the Midland Combination top-flight side finished eighth in the duo’s rookie season before coming fifth, fourth and third in the following seasons.

Dickson has brought in Lee Stringer and Derek Reynolds to work alongside him and keeps Graham Walker onboard as goalkeeping coach.
