McIntosh Re-Unites With Turner at Grantham
Northern Premier League Premier Division club Grantham Town have followed up the signing of prolific marksman Liam Hardy by securing the services of highly rates full back Ben Turner.

The 27-year-old arrives from league rivals Mickleover Sports, after spending the last four seasons at the Don Amott Arena.

 

The experienced defender started his career at Sheffield United and then went to Mansfield Town.

 

He had two years YTS with the Stags and then two years as a professional.

 

He had a loan spell with North Ferriby United before joining Worksop Town on a permanent basis in the summer of 2011, playing under current Grantham boss Martin McIntosh.

 

He went on to have spells with Goole AFC, Matlock Town, Sheffield FC and Belper Town before re-joining Northern Premier Division One South East club Sheffield FC in November 2014.
