Harrison,
23, is an attacking midfielder with an eye for goal having notched 11 for
Sudbury in 2019/20.
He
started off as an academy player at Colchester United and has also played for
Needham Market and East Coast Bays in New Zealand.
Clarets
boss Robbie Simpson told www.chelmsfordcityfc.com: “Callum was brought to my
attention by Steve Pitt and I started to do my due diligence with Glenn
Skingsley watching clips and getting reports from managers and players that
have played with and against Callum. The response was overwhelmingly positive.
“A
young, hungry, energetic, two-footed central midfield player that wants to play
at the very highest level possible. I feel the squad last season was lacking a
real goal-scoring threat from the middle of the park and Callum certainly has an
eye for goal with 17 last season and 11 this season before it was cut short.
I’m excited to see him in a Claret shirt!" |
