Goalkeeper Lewis Noice and midfielder Sam Griffin both join from Howes` former club, Southern League Premier Division South outfit Blackfield & Langley.

The 24-year-old Noice signed for the Watersiders in 2017 from Winchester City.

He started out with Vanarama National League side Eastleigh and also gained experience with Yate Town and Larkhall Athletic.

Twenty-eight-year-old left-sided midfielder Griffin re-joined Blackfield & Langley from Poole Town in May 2019.

He had signed for Poole in the summer of 2018 having scored 20-plus goals for the Watersiders in 2017/18.

He has previous Southern League experience with Wimborne Town after starting out with Christchurch.

Joining from National League neighbours Eastleigh is 20-year-old midfielder Lewis Waterfield (pictured).

An exciting young prospect, Waterfield was in Eastleigh’s first team squad, making two substitute appearances for the Spitfires against Harrogate Town and Hartlepool United last term.

He is also no stranger to Howes or the two other new arrivals as he spent a short time on loan at Blackfield & Langley in 2018/19 and again in 2019/20, when he played 23 times for the Watersiders.

Meanwhile, the Stags have also announced that Craig Feeney and captain Jack Masterton are to remain with the club for 2020/21.

Both players have been consistent performers over recent seasons for the club.

Feeney was again amongst the goals at the Snows Stadium last term, netting 21 prior to the season being ended prematurely.

Masterton was made captain by former boss Louis Langdown. He usually pulls the strings in midfield but spent much of last term playing at left back, where he did a fantastic job.
