Mettam`s Off to Skegness
Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One club Skegness Town have appointed Leon Mettam as player-coach.

The vastly experienced 33-year-old striker re-joined Worksop Town in June 2019 after their return to the Northern Premier Division One South East.

 

Originally with Lincoln City, where he made 5 appearances, he went on to have spells with Stamford AFC, Corby Town and Gainsborough Trinity before joining the Tigers for the first time in 2012.

 

And in his final season, he notched over 50 goals as the club finished in the NPL play-offs.

 

He went on to play for the likes of Tamworth, King`s Lynn Town and Spalding United.
