Evo-Stik Northern Premier League East club Gresley FC have signed Belper Town duo Alex Steadman and Dominic Allen.

Steadman returns to Gresley, having scored 42 goals in 94 previous appearances for the Moatmen, including 28 goals in the 2014/15 season.

 

He has previously played for Mickleover Sports, Chasetown and Stafford Rangers before joining Gresley last time around.

 

It was in October 2015 he left to join Belper and now he makes his return to the Moat Ground.

 

Allen also joins from Belper where he had been playing since November 2015 and previously played for Burton Albion, where he captained the Brewer`s youth team before moving to Mickleover Sports in December 2012.

 

After a short spell at Station Road, he played briefly for Borrowash Victoria before moving to Eastwood Town in March 2013.

 

Allen then turned out for Stafford Rangers and Long Eaton United before joining Belper where he has spent the last couple of seasons and was voted as player of the year for 2017/18.

 

Meanwhile, experienced defenders Mark Branch and Matt Roome have re-signed for the Moatmen after agreeing on terms along with midfielder Dexter Morris Clarke.
