The 34-year-old joins the Linnets having been player-coach at Vanarama National League North side Alfreton Town since January.
Beevers signed for the Reds from league rivals Gainsborough Trinity.
Injury-hit Beevers signed for Trinity having re-joined Lincoln City in May 2015.
He made 19 appearances in 2016/17 but was awarded a benefit match by the Imps in July against Walsall after the popular defender was forced to quit full-time football after suffering a ruptured patella tendon during the 2-0 victory over Boreham Wood in October 2016.
In his first spell, Beevers made 175 appearances for the Imps in all competitions between 2005 and 2009.
The former Welsh under-21 international initially joined Lincoln on loan from Boston United in February 2005 before the move was made permanent with the former Ipswich Town youngster joining for an undisclosed fee.
A successful 2006/07 campaign saw Beevers named as the supporters’ player of the season, and he spent a further two years with the Imps before joining Colchester United.
Injuries restricted his playing time there and he subsequently joined Mansfield after a year with Walsall before helping Stags win the Conference (National League) and re-establish themselves back in the Football League.
Beevers joins Lynn`s other new signings Harry Limb, the former Wisbech Town and Burnley forward, and Kalern Thomas, who joined from Kettering Town. |
