Caretaker Boss Decides Not to Apply
After a period of discussion and reflection, Andy Keogh has decided not to put his name forward for the permanent role of manager of Northern Premier League Division One North West club Mossley AFC.

Keogh took over as interim manager in early February and led the side to a highly credible seventh place in the league.

Vice-chairman Callum Irving told http://www.mossleyweb.com: "Andy took on the role and not only achieved in terms of results, but also carried himself with great class and led by example.

“He still harbours ambitions to manage one day and we have discussed how the club can support this journey as he continues his playing career.”

“We’d like to thank Andy for the honest, mature and thoughtful way he has engaged with the club during discussions.

“We will now recommence our recruitment process with applicants in the coming weeks”.
